Safety Straps:

A rattan play gym frame made from the highest quality natural rattan, finished with a water-based coating that is safe for use around babies and young children. Includes five wooden attachment loops for hanging toys.

A note on natural rattan Because rattan is a natural material, no two frames are exactly alike. Subtle variations in finish and tone are part of what makes each one its own. Rattan can occasionally bend or warp with changes in temperature — this is normal, and easily remedied by gently reshaping by hand. Get in touch if you need any guidance.

You can choose whether you want the frame to come with safety straps or without.

Our safety straps are two strips of strong weave jute webbing that is secured to the underside of the play gym. We recommend adding the safety if you are planning on having some form of mat between the frame as it prevents your baby from pulling the frame over on themselves. 

The frame size is approximately 70 (L) x 45 (D) x 50 (H) cm.

Please note, we cannot send our rattan frames to PO boxes or Parcel lockers.

About The Frame

Natural material, considered process.

Our rattan frames are made from natural rattan and finished with a water-based coating — the same type used in furniture designed for nurseries and children's spaces. It contains no harsh solvents, dries odourless, and is safe for use around babies and young children.

As with any natural material product, we recommend the frames are used as intended — as a play mat surround rather than a chew toy. That said, we understand babies explore with their mouths, and we've made our material choices with exactly that in mind.
