Frequently Asked Questions

Yes — and we recommend starting with a spot clean for everyday marks. A baby wipe works beautifully for small spills and is the gentlest option for preserving the mat over time.

If a full wash is needed, hand washing is our preferred method. That said, many of our customers wash their mats on a cold, gentle machine cycle without any issues. Just be aware that repeated machine washing may cause the mat to lose a little of its structure, and slight fading is possible over time.

However you wash it, always lay flat to dry. Please do not tumble dry.

Our play mats are handmade in Melbourne using carefully selected fabrics chosen for their softness, safety, and longevity. We prioritise materials that feel at home in a considered space — not just functional, but genuinely beautiful.

Yes. Safety is at the core of everything we make. Our play mats are designed to provide a calm, safe foundation for early play from day one — soft enough for a newborn, durable enough to last through toddlerhood and beyond

Our mats are designed to last — full stop. We make them in small batches with care and attention to detail precisely because we believe in longevity over disposability. With gentle care, your mat should remain a beautiful part of your home for years.

We aim to keep all variations available, but because our mats are handmade in small batches, there are occasionally moments when a particular style sells through. If something you love is out of stock, rest assured we are making more — sign up to be notified when it returns, or reach out to us directly.
